A well needed renewal on this retaining wall — the old railroad ties were rotted and pushing out, so we tore them out and rebuilt the whole slope in wall block.

This one we had to do twice. It originally ran into the street drainage basin behind the buildings, but the town came back and said that basin is strictly for surface drainage, so we converted it to a dry well system that leaches through the ground. Whatever the drainage problem is, there's a solution for it.

An old asphalt walkway swapped for a paver walkway with new flower beds. On a run this long, dead-straight border and joint lines are what separate a good job from a bad one — the eye picks up even the smallest curve.
